明尼蘇達州簡介
Minnesota is famous for its beautiful scenery, culture sight, place of interest and leisure as well as the booming chances for business. Minnesota is named as “The Land of Lakes” with more than 14,000 lakes and has been successively ranked as the best environment for living in America for many years. The speed of economic development of Minnesota has always been faster than the whole economic growth speed of America and kept the lowest rate of unemployment in America. The campus of Twin Cities is located at the center of Minneapolis city and St. Paul city. The Twin Cities are developed in fields of finance, manufacturing, medical treatment, food process and transportation etc., possessing many famous companies, such as North-west Airline, 3M, General Mills, Imation, BUSTBUY etc. and become the central zone of five enterprise markets of America, centralize most of the headquarters of industries and services which rank Fortune Top 500. What’s more, it was ranked as the city with most of science and technology in America by the authority of scientific magazine Popular Science in April, 2005.

中山大學嶺南（大學）學院簡介
Lingnan (University) College, SunYat-senUniversity was named after LingnanUniversity, which was set up in 1888 by friendly Americans in Guangzhou as a private university. In 1927, the administrative responsibility of LingnanUniversity was assumed by the Chinese nationals. By the 1930s, LingnanUniversity had developed into a well-known comprehensive university with disciplines in Liberal Arts, Science, Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine etc. LingnanUniversity had extensive influence at home and abroad, it established academic links with many famous universities worldwide. In 1952, as a result of the reorganization of all the universities in China, Lingnan’s departments were incorporated into other universities, primarily ZhongshanUniversity (now known as SunYat-senUniversity). Before the centenary of LingnanUniversity in 1988, Lingnan (University) College, SunYat-senUniversity (used to be known as ZhongshanUniversity) was approved by the State Education Commission of China and established.
中山大學嶺南（大學）學院源于嶺南大學，原嶺南大學是1888年由美國友好人士在廣州創辦的一所私立大學，1927年收歸中國人自辦。到三十年代，嶺南大學發展成一所設有文、理、工、農、醫等多科性著名大學，在海內外具有廣泛影響，?和世界上一些著名大學互相承認學歷。1952年，在全國院系調整中，嶺南大學有關科系分別?入中山大學和其他高等院校。1988年嶺南大學百年盛典前夕，經海內外嶺南校友和中山大學積極申請，中山大學嶺南（大學）學院經國家教委批准正式成立。
In 1998, L(U)C Board of Trustees(BOT) was founded in Hongkong, which consisted of the Lingnan alumni and warm-hearted people of all circles. The Hongkong enterpriser, Lingnan alumni, Dr. J. T. Wu was the first chairman of BOT and the present chairman is Dr. Lau Sui. Mr. Huang Hua and Mr. Wang Daohan were members of the Honorary Chairman before. L(U)C Board of Trustees leads Lingnan alumni in supporting education and donating 150 million Hongkong dollars to construct Lingnan Hall, S.T. WU Library, J.T.WU Administration Center, and Po Ting IP MBA Teaching Building, and form those international top-ranking teaching facilities such as digital library, electronic long-distance teaching facility, digital lab, library with the most comprehensive economic and management related publications in China. L(U)C has also received a long-term support from Lingnan Foundation of USA (headquarters in Massachusetts) with more than 1.5 million dollars’ donation, which greatly improved the national and international academic communication. L(U)C will learn from the educational experience of the leading business schools in the world, invite excellent experts and scholars to L(U)C for lectures and researches, and in recent years, sent over fifty faculty members respectively to lots of famous universities abroad like Massachusetts Institute of Technology to visit and participate in further education and academic conference both at home and abroad，improve faculties’ academic level and ability for science and research, foster graduates of high quality. It works on becoming a top-ranking business school in the country and famous in the world.
1988年，嶺南（大學）學院董事會在香港成立，由嶺南校友及各界熱心人士組成，香港實業家、嶺南學長伍沾德博士?首任主席，現任主席?劉瑞博士，黃華先生與汪道涵先生曾任名譽主席。董事會帶領廣大嶺南校友熱心支持教育事業，?學院的建設和發展捐助達一億五千萬港元，先後捐建了嶺南堂國際學術交流中心、伍舜德圖書館、伍沾德堂嶺南行政中心及葉葆定堂MBA講學大樓，使學院擁有電子圖書館、電子遠程教學、數字化管理實驗室及國內經濟管理類藏書最豐富之一的圖書館等國際一流的教學設施。學院成立以來，還得到了美國嶺南基金會（總部設在美國麻薩諸塞州紐黑文市）的長期支持，捐助達150多萬美元，大大推動了國內外學術交流活動。中山大學嶺南（大學）學院將借鑒國際著名商學院的辦學經驗，吸引優秀的專家學者到學院從事教學和研究工作，?于近年來相繼派出50多名教師赴美國麻省理工學院等多個國外著名高校進修訪問、參加國際國內學術會議，提高教師的學術水平和科研能力，培養出高素質的畢業生，?建設成?國內一流、國際知名的商學院而努力。
