The CHEMBA Program is scheduled to avoid interrupting a participant¡¦s career. The 48-credit program consists of 16 courses over 16 months, including two weeks¡¦ International Residency. The courses are delivered in English and scheduled on two consecutive weekends, totally 32 hours per course. The courses in the first two semesters provide an in-depth examination of tools and functions of the organization. The Third and Forth Semester courses are designed to expand participant¡¦s ability to deal with complex management challenges by focusing more closely on the larger contextual environment of business.

Teaching Method & Grade Evaluation

A wide range of teaching methods are used by the faculty, including lectures, case discussions, group projects, field trips to enhance participant¡¦s ability to manage, motivate, innovate and lead. Grades are based on individual assignment, group assignment, presentation, case analyses, in-class exam, take-home exam, class participation and other assignments. Each course is evaluated with Grade Point Average (GPA) Requirements independently. Students must maintain an overall GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale) to satisfy the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree requirements.

The International Residency

A deeper global perspective is also developed through the International Residency, which provides an experiential learning opportunity that brings the learning of the program together and focuses sharply on global markets. CHEMBA students join the last course, virtual team international project and graduation together with Carlson Vienna EMBA, Warsaw EMBA and US EMBA, visited Fortune 500 enterprises and organizations, like 3M, Federal Reserve Bank, BESTBUY, Target, General Mills, Imation, H.B.Fuller, Medtronic, etc., and exchanged views with the local entrepreneurs from Europe and US.
